Farrokh Ahmadi

I completed my bachelor's, master's, and PhD in Management, focused on Operations Research (optimization). That path gradually pulled me toward AI and data mining — from data science and machine learning to deep learning — chasing the same optimization logic, now applied with newer tools to real problems facing businesses and organizations. Alongside this, I currently teach AI courses at university, passing that knowledge on to the next generation.

As an active financial-market trader, I follow a Volume Trading style using Ritmic data on the NinjaTrader platform — the same quantitative, data-driven mindset, this time applied to the live market.

That same path and mindset eventually led to designing and building Homat — an effort to turn this knowledge into practical services and solutions for organizations that work with data. The name "Homat" comes from ancient Persian culture and means "good thought" — the right thinking and data, before any action.

Homat School was created as a new space for exchanging knowledge and building skills; and at Synapse Insights, the goal is to turn the ability to read and analyze market data into a lasting, value-creating skill.
